Reselling angle
PwC’s recent partnership with OpenAI as their first official reseller for ChatGPT Enterprise has the potential to drive widespread adoption of GenAI in the business world.
This collaboration allows PwC to test and implement the technology internally before customizing and incorporating the solutions into its various services, including audit, tax, consulting, and industry-specific offerings.
Practically, this could involve developing AI models specifically designed for tasks such as streamlining tax return reviews, automating parts of audit processes, or quickly analyzing contracts and regulatory compliance across different regions.
Given PwC’s global reach and the complexity of operating across various jurisdictions with different laws and regulations, the possibilities for leveraging AI are extensive.
In addition to partnering with OpenAI, PwC also collaborates with other tech giants like Microsoft, Amazon, and Google, each offering their own GenAI platforms and tools. The firm aims to offer unbiased advice to clients on selecting the most suitable AI solutions for their specific needs.
‘Prove it’ phase
PwC has entered the ‘prove it’ phase, where they are actively showcasing the capabilities and benefits of GenAI by identifying over 3,000 potential internal use cases. Key industries for GenAI implementation include financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and hospitality.
According to PwC’s research, 58% of global CEOs anticipate that GenAI will enhance their products and services this year. The firm highlights that their adoption of GenAI tools has led to internal transformations, reshaping their processes and enabling them to deliver greater value to clients.
