What initially drew you to computer science and how did you become involved in cloud computing?
My father, an engineer, introduced me to building and modifying computers in the early 80s. My first computer, a TRS-80 Model 4, allowed me to learn basic programming in elementary school. Throughout high school, I worked at an internet service provider, gaining experience in dial-up, broadband, email, and website support. While pursuing a computer science degree in college, I managed the campus data center and networks, leading my first team.
I held various roles at a managed hosting services provider before embracing cloud computing as a cloud architect when AWS disrupted legacy models. Since then, I have been dedicated to helping companies leverage the value of cloud computing for their businesses. My passion for computing remains strong, and I find fulfillment in supporting the success and growth of others who share my passion.
